"CONTEST TO WIN" THE OMAHA WORLD-HERALD UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA - LINCOLN TIPOFF KID CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open only to youth ages 6 to 12 years of age as of November 1, 2011 in the Omaha World-Herald Circulation area of Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. Entry forms must be signed by a parent or official guardian who have the capacity to enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of such youth and satisfy all eligibility requirements. The Omaha World-Herald Company and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln University Athletic Department are the Sponsors of this contest. Employees of the Sponsors, their subsidiaries, affiliates, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their spouses) are not eligible. Any prior winners of the Creighton Tip-Off Kid contest or the UNL Tip-Off Kid contest during the 2011- 2012 basketball season, or any prior season, is also ineligible. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

HOW TO ENTER:
Go to www.omaha.com and click on Omaha World-Herald Contests under Spotlight. Fill out the entry form giving name, age, parent or legal guardian name, address, email address and phone number and have it signed by a parent or legal guardian. Entry forms can be mailed to UNL Tipoff Kid Contest, Omaha World-Herald, 1314 Douglas Street Suite 600, Omaha, Nebraska 68102 or can be delivered to TD Ameritrade, 10916 Prairie Brook Road, Omaha, Nebraska between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Entries must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Nebraska vs. Rhode Island, Oregon, South Dakota State - Entry Deadline: Friday, November 11, 2011
Nebraska vs. Wake Forest, Florida Gulf Coast, Alcorn State - Entry Deadline: Wednesday, November 23,2011
Nebraska vs. Central Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State - Entry Deadline: Thursday, December 14, 2011
Nebraska vs. Penn State, Indiana - Entry Deadline: Thursday, January 5, 2012
Nebraska vs. Ohio State, Minnesota - Entry Deadline: Thursday, January 12, 2012
Nebraska vs. Michigan, Illinois, Iowa - Entry Deadline: Thursday, February 2, 2012

Alternative Method of Entry. Participants may also enter by submitting the following information, all legibly written on a 3" x 5" card to: UNL Tipoff Kid Contest, Omaha World-Herald, 1314 Douglas Street Suite 600, Omaha, NE 68102. Include your name, address, phone number, age and the signature of your parent or guardian.

A total of one (1) winner for each game. The winner will receive a prize package (one winner per game) consisting of four (4) tickets to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln home basketball game at The Bob Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, the right to watch pre-game warm-ups from courtside, and the right to present the game ball to the officials. The retail value of this prize package is $40.00.

There will only be one (1) winner per household. An entrant may not win more than once for either the Creighton Tipoff Kid or UNL Tipoff Kid contests. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or damaged are void and will not be accepted or eligible. Only legible and complete entry forms will be accepted and eligible. The Omaha World-Herald Company is not responsible for misdirected, lost, late or damaged entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.

TD Ameritrade will also award each Tipoff Kid winner $1,000 in a Custodian account. The winner is solely responsible for payment of all taxes associated with these prizes. With respect to the TD Ameritrade account, standard account application requirements apply. Account must be opened within 180 days of award notification. Custodian/Guardian should consult tax advisor for specific tax implications.

One winner for each prize package described above will be selected in a random drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

Each winner will be notified by phone or e-mail within 48 hours of the drawing date. Prize must be claimed or accepted within two business days of the drawing date. If the Sponsors are unable to locate a given winner, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing. All prizes are non-transferable. No cash or other substitutions are allowed.

By submitting an entry for this contest, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and any decision Sponsors make regarding this promotion. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify from the contest, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any participant or winner who, in Sponsors' reasonable suspicion, tampers with the Omaha World-Herald's entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw the transmission of this promotion and award the prizes from among the eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal.

By entering the contest, the entrant agrees to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors shall be final in all respects, and releases the Omaha World-Herald Company, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and each of their subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind directly or indirectly arising from or relating to this contest, any prize, any acceptance, possession or use of any prize, or presence on, near or within the Bob Devaney Center in Lincoln or the game court, or participation in any activity therein.

This promotion and the rights and obligations of Sponsors and participants will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of Nebraska, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings, and litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of Nebraska, Douglas County. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of Nebraska and federal courts located within the state and county with respect to any action, dispute, or other matter directly or indirectly pertaining to or arising out of this promotion, any prize, any acceptance, possession or use of any prize, presence on, near or within the Bob Devaney Center, Lincoln or the game court, or participation in any activity therein. Participants in this contest hereby waive any right to jury trial relating to this contest against either Sponsor named above. With respect to any claim against either Sponsor relating to this contest or any prize, any acceptance, possession or use of any prize, valid service of process and proper filing of any claim in a court of competent jurisdiction must occur within three (3) months of the date such claim accrued, or such claim shall be forever waived, barred and discharged.

DISCLAIMER:
Each winner assumes all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize and releases the Omaha World-Herald Company, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and each of their respective owners, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, from any such liability. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winners' photo, video, image, likeness, name and address, and the game video for purposes of advertising promotion and publicity without additional compensation.

MISCELLANEOUS:
If for any reason the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned due to any cause beyond the control of Sponsors, including but not limited to any event or cause which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and disqualify any individual who may have caused any such problem. Sponsors assume no responsibility for any theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or delays, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the entry was made.
By entering this contest, each entrant agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the drawing or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs, directly or indirectly associated with entering this contest, but in no event will attorneys' fees be awarded or recoverable; and (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to, any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. IN NO EVENT SHALL SPONSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE DAMAGES. IN ANY EVENT THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SPONSORS TO ANY PERSON DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATING TO THIS CONTEST OR THE AWARD, USE OR ENJOYMENT OF ANY PRIZE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUM OF $50.00.
